The Minister of the Interior and Member of Parliament for Nandom, Honorable Ambrose Dery, has demonstrated his commitment to supporting the youth and women’s wings of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper West Region. On Monday, the Minister donated a brand new Mitsubishi pick-up truck to the NPP regional youth wing and women’s wing to aid in their mobility and service to the party.
Hamid Mohammed Saana, the Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP, received the pick-up truck on behalf of the two wings at a ceremony attended by other youth organizers from across the region. In his brief remarks, Hon. Ambrose Dery acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the youth and women’s wings in the region, and emphasized the need for continued support in achieving the party’s goals.
“We have seen how well our youth wing and the women wing have dedicated so much to the service of the party in the region, and I am doing this to help in our easy mobility of the region and as an encouragement for us to continually give our best to service of our party in helping break the 8,” he said.
In response, Hamid Mohammed Saana thanked the Interior Minister for his generosity and assured him that the pick-up truck will be put to good use in helping to ensure a strong and effective youth front for the party in the region.
