PPA Engages Nursing Training College, Wa on Electronic Procurement System

The Nursing Training College, Wa is one of the many government institutions set to benefit from the implementation of the Ghana Electronic Procurement System. Recently, the Deputy CEO of the Public Procurement Authority, Mr. Kwame Prempeh, met with the college’s management, led by Principal Ms. Christina Terbobri, to discuss how the system will work.

The Ghana Electronic Procurement System is an electronic system designed to facilitate the procurement of goods and services in accordance with the public procurement act (act 663,2003). The system aims to promote transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public procurement processes.

With the implementation of the Ghana Electronic Procurement System, the Nursing Training College, Wa will be able to streamline its procurement processes and ensure compliance with the public procurement act. The system will also enable the college to access a wider pool of suppliers and vendors, which will increase competition and drive down costs.

Furthermore, the Ghana Electronic Procurement System will make it easier for the Nursing Training College, Wa to manage procurement-related documents, such as bids and contracts. The system will provide a centralized platform for storing and accessing these documents, which will enhance the college’s record-keeping capabilities and facilitate audits and compliance checks.

As Nursing Training College, Wa continues to play a critical role in the development of Ghana’s healthcare system, this initiative will enable it to achieve its goals more efficiently and effectively.
