Stop Downgrading The Efforts Of Bloggers – Asonya Gh Admonishes Artiste/Management

Renowned award-winning Upper West-based entertainment and lifestyle blogger/promoter Asonya Gh has admonished artists and their management to stop downgrading the selfless efforts of bloggers in the region.

Bloggers have with the slightest provocation been under heavy attack recently from some artist’s camps in the Upper West Region. Now all it takes for a blogger to be verbally abused is a slight disagreement with an artist or his people. Some quarters went as far as calling all bloggers ‘allo bloggers’ and other unprintable names. One supposed manager of one of the biggest artists in the region even stated he will rather pay a blogger outside the region to promote his artist rather than waste money on local bloggers with low numbers.

Reacting to this wanton disrespect and unnecessary attacks on bloggers/promoters, the CEO of onemuzikgh asked them to not downgrade bloggers’ efforts and shut up if they have nothing sensible to say.

You just can’t go on social media and write whatever garbage you want. You can’t be downgrading people’s selfless efforts like that. So shut up if you have nothing sensible to say”

The reigning Upper West Music Awards  Blogger Of The Year who was speaking to Dj Breezy on Home Radio’s ‘StreetVybes’ added that several websites outside the region extract content about the region from his site. Besides, he equally works with artists who are far bigger than those making the noise. So those statements make no sense at all.

We have spent our precious time, energy, and money to horn our skills to help push these artists as far as we can. And heaven knows with even no remuneration whatsoever from them, we keep doing our best. So it is absolute crab to say you will rather pay bloggers outside because we here don’t have the numbers. Like seriously? We deserve better”
